 On a moving day for Coach Benni McCarthy and the Amazulu supporters, McCarthy read heartfelt letters of gratitude from supporters and former players he had inspired during his time on the pitch. After leading the Amazulu squad to a national title, many young people are looking forward to Benni McCarty. Thanks to his great play on the field—which included winning the Champions League with Porto—he has achieved legendary status among long-time football fans in South Africa. The most recent Huawei edition featured Coach Benni McCarty's key list, and the South Africans sent him flowers after reading it.
